Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen and his girlfriend, Stefanie Ladewig, have welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Liora Audrey.
Osimhen’s Turkish club, Galatasaray, announced the arrival of the newborn in a social media statement on Thursday, congratulating the couple and wishing their daughter a healthy and happy life.
“Our Football A Team player Victor Osimhen and Stefanie have welcomed a baby girl into the world.
“We congratulate the couple Victor and Stefanie; we wish their newborn baby Liora Audrey a long, healthy, and happy life!” the club stated.
The couple’s first daughter, Hailey, was born in October 2022.
Ladewig, a Cameroonian-German fashion model and social media influencer, reportedly began her relationship with Osimhen in 2019 when the Nigerian striker was playing for German Bundesliga club Wolfsburg.
Earlier this month, reports emerged that Ladewig was involved in a road accident while heavily pregnant. However, Turkish media reported that she escaped without injuries following the three-vehicle collision.
Meanwhile, Osimhen is expected to feature for Galatasaray in their league encounter against T. Konyaspor on Friday after being named in the squad.
The 27-year-old forward recently delivered an impressive performance, scoring twice on Monday to inspire Galatasaray to victory over their fierce Istanbul rivals, Fenerbahce, in the city derby.
Galatasaray currently occupy the top position in the league standings after nine matches, while Osimhen has netted eight goals, placing him among the competition’s joint-top scorers.
