A heated exchange occurred between Senator Adams Oshiomhole and Arise Television presenter Rufai Oseni during a live interview following questions about President Bola Tinubu’s trip to Saudi Arabia and his decision not to campaign across all states.

The disagreement began when Oseni challenged the explanation that Tinubu was limiting his campaign activities to focus on governance, questioning why the President was in Saudi Arabia for a religious exercise if governance was his priority.

The presenter also demanded an assessment of the performance of the All Progressives Congress-led government.

Oseni said, “The person said the reason President Tinubu is not going to campaign in all the states is because he wants to focus on governance. But today, he is away in Saudi Arabia for a religious exercise and away from governance. What is the cost-benefit analysis of what the APC government has done so far?”

Reacting to the question, Oshiomhole accused the presenter of asking multiple questions and attempting to answer them himself, while insisting that he should be allowed to respond without interruption.

The former Edo State governor said, “Rufai, this is not journalism. I’m very ready for you today. I’m not going to allow you to continue with this tradition of trying to speak to yourself and answer yourself. You ask three questions, and I will reply to them. You have no right to interrupt when I’m replying.”
