President Bola Tinubu on Friday arrived in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, on a working visit to commission projects completed by Governor Umo Eno’s administration and participate in a political rally.

The President left Abuja earlier in the day for a two-state trip to Akwa Ibom and Rivers states. The visit marks his first major engagement in the South-South region since the All Progressives Congress began its mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Tinubu was welcomed at the Victor Attah International Airport by Governor Eno, senior government officials, APC leaders and a large gathering of supporters.
