Blaqbonez breaks silence on Odumodublvck’s sexual abuse allegations against him in X outburst

Rapper Odumodublvck has reignited his public dispute with record label Chocolate City, making new allegations against label artiste Blaqbonez, including claims of sexual abuse.

The feud, which has lasted for months, previously saw Odumodublvck accuse the label of criminal intimidation and assault, while also alleging that veteran rapper Jude ‘MI’ Abaga, who is linked to Chocolate City, acted hypocritically.

In June, Odumodublvck claimed that Chocolate City had repeatedly tried to orchestrate his arrest.

In a fresh series of posts on X, the rapper alleged that some figures in the music industry were protecting Blaqbonez from sexual abuse accusations.

He further claimed that Blaqbonez was recently detained over the allegations and agreed to issue an apology, although details surrounding the alleged investigation and legal process remain unclear.

“Blaqbonez, when you were detained, before your release, you were told to apologise. Same detention that Abuchi paid influencers to lie about that you did not go. You said you cannot apologise verbally, so that it won’t be recorded,” he wrote.

“You tried your best not to apologise because you knew that it could be used against you one day.

“The police made sure you used your own handwriting, and it was overseen by your lawyers, so the agenda of you being coerced is dead on arrival. No man accepts sexual harassment because of 2 nights in a cell.”

Odumodublvck also alleged that Chocolate City deliberately fuelled tension among rappers to divert attention from the accusations against Blaqbonez.

He further claimed that the label’s management was attempting to revoke his lawyer’s licence in connection with the matter.

“Chocolate City just invited my lawyer to the disciplinary committee of legal practitioners to threaten him and revoke his license, just so he does not represent me anymore (allegedly),” he wrote.

“Just like the way they invited me to the Aso Villa and I walked away scot-free, because I was innocent, and so too was the victim.

“Audu Maikori has pulled all the tricks out of his hat, and he is still trying more. I DM him every now and then to let him know that I am covered by the blood of Jesus, and I am sure that the people in this panel will see this tweet.”

The rapper also claimed Blaqbonez initially sought an out-of-court settlement, but said the victim’s lawyer rejected the offer.

According to him, the victim was willing to forgive without financial compensation, but her lawyer insisted on a monetary settlement for reasons not disclosed.

Odumodublvck alleged the settlement was initially pegged at N15 million but was negotiated down to N2 million by Chocolate City, with the payment reportedly made from Blaqbonez’s personal account.

“After it was paid, the police queried the victim for allowing it to go that way and categorically told her that this boy is meant to be in jail for 14 years. That same boy is denying all this. Tag him make e deny am,” he added.

Blaqbonez, however, dismissed the allegations, describing them as an attempt to “harass and intimidate” him. He said the claims stem from a past relationship that “ended respectfully”.

In a statement later reshared by Odumodublvck, Blaqbonez said a dispute with another artiste had been escalated into a wider campaign aimed at damaging his reputation.

He stated that he is fully cooperating with authorities and welcomed transparency.

The rapper also said his legal team is taking steps to protect him from what he described as sustained harassment and defamation.

“That private chapter has now become entangled with professional rivalries in the music industry. What began as a personal matter between two adults has been pulled into a broader feud, reshaped and used as ammunition in a campaign to discredit me publicly,” the statement reads.

“The accusations being pushed are deliberate fabrications designed to damage my name, my work, and everything I’ve built. They have caused pain to my family, my team, and those who support me. It’s disheartening to see people weaponise falsehoods for attention and revenge.

“I am cooperating fully with the authorities to ensure that the truth is established once and for all. I have nothing to hide, and I welcome transparency. I’m also taking steps through my legal team to protect myself against the harassment and defamation I’ve endured over the past year.

“I have worked hard to represent honesty and self-belief in my art.

“That will not change. The truth will come out, and when it does, I hope this moment reminds everyone that false accusations destroy real lives, and that bullying, whether physical, digital, or psychological, must never be tolerated.

“I will allow personal grudges or online hostility to define who I am or distract me from my purpose. The truth is not afraid of light, and that’s where I stand. Thank you to everyone who’s reached out in support. My focus remains on my music, my peace, and clearing my name.”
