Boko Haram kills four Police officers, sets station ablaze in Borno

Boko Haram militants killed four police officers at Gajiram, the headquarters of the Nganzai Local Government Area, 82 kilometres from Maiduguri, Borno State’s capital.
In addition, the terrorists set fire to the town’s police headquarters.

A source in Maiduguri’s security services told Channels Television about this.

According to the source, the terrorists infiltrated the town about 11 p.m. on Friday and went directly to the police station while officers were sleeping.

The source revealed that corpses of the four personnel were also set ablaze by the terrorists and that they were deposited at the military base in Gajiram

There have been resurgence of insecurity in Borno State with recent explosions of explosive devices killing several personnel, civilian volunteers and commuters in parts of the state.
