Actress Ini Dima-Okojie describes her pregnancy journey as ‘magical’ despite health challenges

Actress Ini Dima-Okojie has described her pregnancy experience as a magical journey despite the health challenges she faced along the way.

In a video shared on Instagram, the actress expressed gratitude for witnessing her body prepare for the arrival of her son, adding that she experienced what she believed was divine support throughout the pregnancy.

Dima-Okojie also disclosed that she carried the pregnancy while living with multiple fibroids, saying the condition took a physical, mental, and emotional toll on her at different stages.

“What a magical journey. My lips cannot stop saying, Thank You, God!!! Looking back at these moments, I can’t help but smile. Watching my body make room for my son, and witnessing God’s hand over every step of the journey, is something I’ll treasure forever.

“It wasn’t always easy. Carrying a baby while navigating multiple fibroids is a story for another day. Some moments stretched me physically, mentally, and emotionally. There were days that felt really hard”, she wrote.

“Which is why it always makes me smile when people tell me, ‘You looked so happy,’ ‘You were glowing,’ or ‘You made pregnancy look so easy.” If only you knew. But God…”

The actress said her faith helped her through medical appointments, anxious periods, and key milestones during the pregnancy.

She reflected that, looking back, she saw only gratitude for how the journey concluded.

“He was faithful through every appointment, every anxious moment, every prayer, and every milestone. Looking back now, all I see is His goodness.

“Everything truly ended in praise. Thank You, Lord, for carrying me as I carried him”, she added.

She also encouraged other women seeking to conceive, those currently pregnant, and those holding on to personal expectations, praying that their stories would end in celebration.

“And for every woman trusting God for her own testimony, whether you’re trying to conceive, expecting, or simply holding on to His promises, I pray that your story will also end in praise. May God strengthen you, carry you, and remind you that He is with you every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen”, she wrote.
