Amerian singer Ariana Grande and her ex-husband Dalton Gomez have officially divorced, and she will pay him $1.25 million as part of their agreement.
According to Associated Press reporting, a Los Angeles Superior Court order dissolved their three-year marriage, claiming “Irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the dissolution in the divorce petition.
Ariana Grande has committed to giving Gomez a one-time payment of $1.25 million and to stop paying alimony in the future.
She also gave him the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles house, and she will pay him up to $25,000 in legal fees.
The pair reportedly decided on the terms of the divorce in October 2023, but the judge’s ruling wasn’t put into effect for another six months.
It has been alleged that Grande and Dalton began dating in 2020 and shared a period of isolation during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Social media was kept quiet about their relationship, and he remained a mystery until TMZ disclosed his real name.
The singer made their romance public with Dalton in June 2020 by sharing a tonne of adorable pictures on Instagram, one of which featured them together.
The couple eventually became engaged, and Grande announced the news in December 2020, showing off her engagement ring.
They married in May 2021 in a private ceremony at the singer’s Montecito home.
When the singer was spotted at the Wimbledon tournament in 2023 with Jonathan Bailey and Andrew Garfield and without her pricey wedding ring on her finger, rumours about her divorce began to spread.
The couple was divorcing, as TMZ reported at the time. Rumours about Ariana’s relationship with Wicked co-star Ethan Slater have persisted ever since.
