The Big Brother Naija Season 9 stars, Wanni and Handi recently became emotional after fans flooded them with gifts.
In a recent Instagram live, the couple thanked their supporters and showed their excitement for the action.
They said they are touched by the encouragement because they are frequently misinterpreted.
“We have been misunderstood our whole lives, it’s so amazing to see you guys love us for our real selves,” they said.
The gifts include 10 million naira, grocery and fuel vouchers amongst others.
Handi was evicted from the show two weeks before the finale while Wanni emerged as the season 9’s runner-up.
Wanni has vowed to make the N100 million grand prize of the show before the year ends.
In a different story, Wanni Danbaki has boasted that she will earn the show’s N100 million grand prize before the end of this year.
Shortly before the grand finale, Wanni boasted in her final diary entry with Biggie.
The disc jockey declared that she will make the grand prize before next year, regardless of the results of the final votes. She had won a brand-new car earlier this week from the Innoson job.
Wanni declared to Big Brother:
“Winning the money or not winning the money, I’m going to make that money before the end of the year.”
