One of the housemates in the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality TV show, Dee-one has rejected the proposal of Ahneeka during the pairing challenge.
He said he rejected the proposal because he did not really understand the concept behind it.
The pairing challenge is about female housemates choosing the male housemate they would like to have as partners.
It involves the female housemates proposing to their male counterparts and the male accepting their proposal with a flower or rejecting it by presenting them with nothing.
By accepting the proposal, if either the male or the female gets evicted, it means both of them are evicted.
So, Ahneeka proposed to Dee-one and to the surprise of all, he declined.
While, she was sulking in bed over the rejected proposal, Dee-one felt bad and decided to apologise to the media entrepreneur.
He said:
“I am sorry I feel bad, I just thought the flower thing was like a game.
“What can I do to help you feel better, I thought it was a game that was going to end had no idea it was permanent. I felt the pairing game was not normal as the guys were holding roses.”
Meanwhile, Big Brother had emphasised on Sunday that eviction of one partner will affect the other.
