The granddaughter of the late Jamaican reggae legend Bob Marley, Zuri Marley, expressed that out of all artists, she would have most valued the opportunity to see Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy collaborate with her grandfather.

She shared this sentiment during her speech at the recent movie premiere of ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ in London, expressing that after careful consideration, she firmly believed Burna Boy was the sole artist whose collaboration with her grandfather she would have cherished witnessing.

Miss Marley said: “The person who I would want my grandpa [Bob Marley] to collaborate with is Burna Boy. I had to think about it. I went backstage and I was like, ‘Burna Boy. Africa Unite.”

According to reports, the soundtrack EP of the music biopic ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ included contributions from two Nigerian artists, Wizkid and Bloody Civilian.
