Maverick singer Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, has voiced concern for President Bola Tinubu’s health following his recent unannounced travel to London.

Recall that following his attendance at the World Economic Forum in the Gulf state, President Tinubu reportedly flew from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to London, England.

Since leaving Nigeria on April 23 for the Netherlands, Tinubu has been travelling.

Reactions have continued to flow in response to the President’s silence over Tinubu’s unexpected travel to London.

Charly Boy reacted, wondering if the President was doing okay.

He accused the Presidency of “over heating the country with very fake and twisted lies”.

According to him, Tinubu is unfit to govern Nigeria and should resign.

On his X handle on Monday, Charly Boy wrote:

“Come oooo. Wey una President? Is all well with him?

“Tinubu’s propaganda machine has been over heating the country with very fake and twisted lies, but propaganda cannot substitute for economic policies.

“Come ooooo, na Peter Obi make Nigerians dey suffer like dis? Na Peter Obi show APC how empty dey are?

“Has fake propaganda become the tactic deployed by APC in all political strata, to continue disparaging and attacking any perceived opposition with all ethnic and religious spears by their cronies. Obi has continued to bore the brunt of these malicious individuals.

“Nigeria has failed. Tinubu pls resign, this work pass you.”

In a different story, Charly Boy, has likened his late father, Justice Chukwudifu Oputa, to the Socrates of the Nigerian Supreme Court.

Charly Boy made this comparison while commemorating the 10th anniversary of Justice Oputa’s passing.

The veteran entertainer also reflected on his early days, recalling how he felt he was in competition with his father.

Posting on X, Charly Boy wrote: “It’s 10 years today since the Socrates of the Nigerian Supreme Court passed on.

“He was a very special man, the rallying point for the unity we still enjoy in our great family today.

“Here’s to a man who was bold enough to raise a son like Charlyboy.
