Dammy Krane has responded to demands from Wasiu Ayinde, the Fuji musician popularly known as Kwam 1, to halt his internet feud with Davido.
Krane and Davido got into a feud last year when the former called out the latter for supposedly having debt.
According to Krane, the “Timeless” hitmaker declined to compensate him for his songwriting contribution. Additionally, he charged Davido with “ruining” his record label agreement with Sony Music.
In response to Krane’s claims, Davido called his associate “ungrateful.”
Davido said that he “never got paid” for his work with Krane on music. In addition, he stated that throughout the singer’s “homeless” period, he “housed and fed” him.
Since then, Krane has persisted in criticising Davido on social media, even going so far as to charge him with his friend Tagbo Umeike’s death.
After celebrating his birthday at Shisha Lounge in Lekki, Lagos state, in October 2017, Umeike allegedly suffered alcohol poisoning and passed away.
Earlier, Davido denied any involvement in his friend’s demise. In addition, he threatened to sue Krane for “cyberbullying and defamation of character.”
Krane persisted in criticising Davido in spite of the possible legal repercussions.
During a live performance while on his US tour, Kwam 1 voiced his opinions on the ongoing conflict between the two singers and advocated for peace.
“I want to send you on an errand. Dammy Krane there should not any fight again,” Ayinde sings.
“Whatever it is that is there should be resolved. I have stamped it. I must not hear anything about it again. You will not bury your child.
“You guys will not also die in my eyes. Your prayers will be answered. I have also told David to forgive all issues.”
Reacting to the Fuji icon’s appeal, Krane said he will no longer call out Davido over Umeike’s demise.
Krane, however, stressed that Davido should pay for his songwriting service.
“SO Davido SETUP A MEETING WIT MY MUM IN YANKEE LOL. I UNDERSTAND ALL,” he wrote on X.
