Renowned Nollywood actor, Seun Jimoh, calls on the Nigerian government to declare a state of emergency in food production.
Expressing his concern for the prevailing hardship in the country, the actor appealed for urgent action on food production in a post on his official Instagram page.

Additionally, he urged the administration of President Bola Tinubu to promptly address the issues of hunger and food insecurity in Nigeria.
“Dear Nigerian government, it’s time to declare a state of emergency on food production. The only time there should be famine in the land is if there is a war or there are no arable lands. There is no reason why food should be scarce in Nigeria,” he wrote.
