  1. Junior Pope Odowondo was born in Bamenda, Cameroon, on May 7, 1984, to Mr. and Mrs. Luke Odonwodo.
  2. Pope is originally from the Ukehe tribe in Enugu State, in the southeast of Nigeria, but, was raised in Cameroun.
  3. He finished his primary and high school studies in Cameroon before moving to Nigeria. He studied at the University of Nigeria Nsukka in Enugu State after graduating from college, where he earned a degree in accounting. He featured in several Nollywood productions after joining in 2006.
  4. He has acted in more than a hundred films, such as Vengeance of Bullet, Mad Sex, Bitter Generation, and Secret Adventures. He was named the 2010 Entertainment Factory Awards’ Most Promising Actor in Nigerian Nollywood.
  5. He performed the roles of servant and guard. He became well-known in 2007 after starring in the popular film “Secret Adventures,” which was directed by Tchidi Chikere. He claims that the renowned film director “Tchidi Chikere” was the one who first made him popular.
  6. Junior Pope wed Jennifer Awele Okpuno on July 26, 2014, and the two were blessed with three boys.
  7. Asides being an actor, Junior Pope was a model, and philanthropist.
  8. Following the boat mishap, he was pronounced dead. But hours later, he miraculously came back to life, and sadly, he passed away.
