Actress Caroline Danjuma, a Scottish-Nigerian, has talked candidly about her life since divorcing her former husband, Musa Danjuma.
The actress claimed that she lost her identity and her dreams following her divorce in a lengthy statement on her Instagram page on Wednesday.
Speaking on her personal experience, she described how rejection and discrimination following the split forced her to start over.
Caroline Danjuma stated:
“I was once a promising makeup artist and hair guru, actress, film producer and fashion consultant. CEO Luxury Addict, CEO Kinetic Media. But I lost my identity and dreams because of divorce.
“I walked away from it all for my own sanity. I started my journey from scratch facing all the fake rumors, discriminations, rejections and uncertainties at 29+ years.
“A conversation that women who have walked the same part hate to talk about. A bittersweet journey to a place unknown. This is my story,”
Caroline married Musa in 2007, and they announced their divorce in 2016 after nine years together.
Musa Danjuma, Caroline Danjuma’s ex-husband, whom she referred to as the love of her life, and she discussed getting remarried in 2023.
The entrepreneur who waxed lyrical about Musa in a recent interview appeared to have no animosity against the father of her children.
According to Carolina, their divorce is just on paper as they still like each other. She revealed that she still bears his surname, Danjuma, outside social media and he doesn’t have a problem with it.
She explained further that she had to change her name from Danjuma to Hutchins on social media because she didn’t like the way his name was being dragged in the mud.
Asked if she’ll ever remarry, Carolina Danjuma replied in the affirmative, stating that she would love to either get remarried or rekindle things with her ex.
