Kiddwaya cancels birthday party to honour late friend, Chizi Wigwe

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Terseer Waya commonly referred to as Kiddwaya has cancelled his birthday celebration in honour of his late friend, Chizi Wigwe.

He declared that he would take the opportunity to pay tribute to his friend Chizi Wigwe, the son of Herbert Wigwe, the former CEO of Access Bank, who passed away in a helicopter crash in the US last month.

He made this known in a post on his Instagram handle on Tuesday, March 5.

He wrote: “Today is my birthday, but today is also the day a good friend of mine is getting buried, so out of respect, I will not be celebrating.”

Recall that The Group Chief Executive Officer, Access Holdings Plc, Herbert Wigwe died in a helicopter crash on Friday, along with his wife, son, and Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former Group Chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc.

The Federal Aviation Administration said that the Eurocopter EC130 helicopter crashed at around 10 p.m. local time near Nipton, Calif., an unincorporated community about 60 miles south of Las Vegas in eastern San Bernardino County.

It was unclear on Saturday morning where the helicopter departed from and where it was headed.
