‘King of thieves’ produced to showcase Yoruba culture’ – Femi Adebayo
Popular actor Femi Adebayo has explained the reasons behind the production of his latest movie, “King of Thieves” (AGẸSINKÓLÉ).
The movie producer, who also is the Special Adviser to the Governor of Kwara State on Arts, Culture and Tourism, in an interview with Hip TV revealed two reasons prompted his latest project.
According to film maker, the movie “King of Thieves” was put together majorly to showcase to the world, the beauty of the Yoruba culture.
He also stated the movie was made to announce the crop of talents existent in the Yoruba genre.
“The intention I had was to showcase the beauty of the Yoruba culture to the world and to let people know that the real talents are right here in the Yoruba genre.
“And so, I put that together. And to God be the glory, it’s doing well,” Femi Adebayo said.
