Niniola has revealed the burial arrangements for her late husband, Micheal Ndika, one week after announcing his passing.
The Grammy-nominated singer disclosed the death of her husband on May 20.
On Friday, she shared details of the funeral programme through a post on Instagram.
According to the schedule, a service of songs will be held in Ndika’s honour on the evening of June 4.
The following day, June 5, a funeral mass will take place in the morning.
Ndika was reportedly the chief executive officer of NaijaReview, a multimedia platform dedicated to Afro-house and African music. The circumstances surrounding his death have not been made public.
Niniola has consistently maintained a private personal life, keeping details of her family and relationships away from the spotlight.
The 39-year-old artiste gained national recognition after finishing as the second runner-up in the sixth season of Project Fame West Africa in 2013. She released her debut single, Ibadi, in 2014 and has since established herself as one of Nigeria’s leading music stars.
Throughout her career, she has earned several nominations and awards, including a Most Promising Act to Watch nomination at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards and the Best Vocal Performance (Female) award at the 14th edition of The Headies.
