Nollywood Actress tests N3m iPhone 17 in water, dismisses XR claims

Actress Nkechi Blessing has confirmed the originality of her iPhone 17 by joining the viral “Apple Challenge,” a trend where users prove their high-end iPhones are genuine by submerging them in water.

The challenge was launched by media personality Daddy Freeze to authenticate claims made by celebrities and influencers about owning original Apple products.

In a video circulating online, Nkechi placed her ₦3 million iPhone 17 into a bowl of water without hesitation, proving that the device was indeed authentic.

Before taking part in the challenge, she displayed her array of Apple gadgets, emphasising that every device she owns is original.

Addressing critics who mocked her over the phone, she said, “I am an Apple girl, as you can see. All my gadgets are Apple. I no go let una wey dey buy this iPhone 17 wey I buy for ₦3 million for ₦450k, ₦250k or ₦50k disrespect me. This Apple Challenge na Daddy Freeze start am. If una sure, put una phone inside water like this.”

Her action follows ongoing debates and doubt on social media about celebrities claiming to own the latest Apple devices.
