The Nigerian actress Osas Ighodaro has disclosed her participation as a co-producer in Burna Boy’s upcoming film, ‘3 Cold Dishes’.
During her recent appearance on the “In My Opinion” podcast, Ighodaro expressed her enthusiasm for the initiative.
The actor revealed that the upcoming project is an adventure movie in three main languages.
“It is an adventure film where we speak English, Yoruba, and French and we are going through English and French-speaking countries from Nigeria to Cote d’ivoire to Benin. I love it, it is directed by Asurf,” she said.
“You have Wale Ojo in it, you have myself and some amazing actresses from Cote d’ivoire and I am also proud to be a producer on it. It is my first major, producing with Asurf who is the director and Burna Boy.”
“3 Cold Dishes,” written by Tomi Adesina, tells the story of three sex trafficking victims who get back together thirteen years later to plan their retaliation.
Burna Boy, who co-founded Spaceship Films with his mother, Bose Ogulu, will make his producing debut in the upcoming drama.
Despite being the project’s primary driving force, Big Black Mac would co-produce the movie with Ifind, Alma Prods, Asurf Films, and Martian Network.
Along with a few Ivorian and Senegalese performers, the film features a stellar cast that includes Femi Jacobs, Wale Ojo, Ruby Akubueze, and Brutus Richards.
