All is set for the 6th edition of Gidi Cultural Fest with the theme, ‘Your Voice, Your Choice’.
The one-day music festival is scheduled to hold on April 20, 2019 at the Landmark Beachfront, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Billed to perform at the main stage are diverse African acts including, Patoranking, Niniola, Teni the entertainer, DJ Neptune, Wande Coal, DJ Obi, Sarz with a special guest appearance from South Africa’s Moonchild Sanelly and many more.
Also, for a second year, the popular Next Gen stage of the event will feature fast-rising stars including LAX, Zlatan, Boogey, Mich Straaw, Organya, Famous Bobson, Andre Music, Oladapo, Mo Believe, Flash, Barelyanyhook, Blaqbonez, Tems, Dunnie, Dami Oniru, DJ TMSKD, Goodgirl LA, Wani, Oma Mahmud, Psycho YP, DJ Krowd Krontroller, DJ Nana.
According to the co-founder of Gidi Fest and Eclipse Live, Chin Okeke, the festival is structured to expose the stories that captivate music fans and explorers from everywhere.
“Our aim is to promote Lagos as a destination and expose the stories that captivate music fans and explorers from everywhere,” Okeke said.
Also speaking on the event, Niniola said; “I’m pleased to be back on this festival. Trust me, it’s going to be a memorable show, you know, I love to dance and I love to perform live music. I look forward to showcasing my stagecraft to the world.”
The festival is sponsored by Pepsi and Budweiser.
