Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P and one-half of the former P-Square duo, has refuted recent allegations of song theft made by his twin brother and ex-bandmate, Paul Okoye, known as Rudeboy.
According to DAILY POST, Rudeboy recently accused Mr P and their former producer, Vampire, of taking his song titled “Winning,” which he had planned to release with his album next year.
Rudeboy expressed surprise when Mr P released the same track, produced by Vampire.
In response, Mr P clarified that the song was co-written and composed with Calypso60, insisting it was impossible for him to steal a song he helped create. He urged his brother to allow him to continue making music without negativity.
In an Instagram post, Mr P wrote, “Person no dey thief him own Property! It is well! Thank you, @iam_vampire_official, for the clarification.
“For the record, ‘Winning’ was written and composed by @calypso60music and myself. Produced by @iam_vampire_official and co-produced by @goldswarm.
“They all deserve their Credit. And I appreciate them.
