Rising singer calls out Carter Efe for not promoting his song after paying N3m

A rising singer whose name is Boyposy has publicly criticised well-known comedian Carter Efe on social media for allegedly taking N3 million from him to promote a song.

Boyposy claims that Carter Efe broke his half of the bargain even though he paid a sizeable amount of N3 million for music promotion.

Boyposy claims that he and Carter Efe started their arrangement in February and that N500,000 was paid up front, with N2.5 million more needed to finish the deal.

The promotion was set to begin once Boyposy’s song was completed and released, which was expected to be the following week.

However, despite fulfilling his financial obligations and providing the song as agreed, Boyposy claims that Carter Efe neglected to promote the track as promised.

One month after the song’s release and submission to Carter Efe, the skitmaker allegedly refused to proceed with the promotion.

In screenshots shared by Boyposy, Carter Efe purportedly justified his decision by stating that he had other content to prioritize on his page and that Boyposy’s song did not meet his standards of quality.

According to reports, Carter Efe implied that Boyposy wasn’t happy with the first song and recommended that he provide him another “sweet” tune for promotion.

Boyposy allegedly demanded a refund for the unsuccessful promotion service as a result of this response.
