The controversial producer-turned-blogger Samklef has come under fire from singer Adekunle Gold for criticising his wife Simi for being “ungrateful.”
Samklef had sparked a heated debate, airing his long-standing frustrations about what he considers to be a lack of appreciation from Ric Hassani and Simi, two musicians he claims he was instrumental in helping to develop in their early stages of careers.
He is especially critical of Simi, whom he holds responsible for a well-planned set-up that exposed him to public derision on the now-defunct Twitter platform (now known as “x”).
Tensions erupted as Samklef demanded an apology from Simi, and her husband AG Baby quickly criticised Samklef for his demands.
Rather, he gave Samklef a sharp warning, imploring him to give up his childish ways and adopt adulthood.
Adekunle Gold stated:
“When will it be your turn to receive sense from your 7th heaven? Because you are clearly lost in your own damn mind. Simi doesn’t owe you shit and it’s about time you stopped calling her name every 3 market days. If anything, you owe me! Stop fooling around and act your age!”

Recall that Samklef revealed why he didn’t ask singer Simi out despite being in love with her during their days as an upcoming artists.
He added that after she broke up with one of her ex-boyfriends, he was on the verge of asking her out but decided against it because he wanted to keep his personal and professional lives apart.
