Seun Kuti has stated that there is no chance of making peace with fellow artist Wizkid, insisting their dispute will remain “for life.”

Seun, the son of Afrobeat icon Fela Kuti, shared this during a recent appearance on the Selah Meditate podcast. He brushed off claims that the two performers might have quietly resolved their issues away from the public eye.

“I do not want to talk about that n***a, what is there to say? There is nothing to say about him. It is on for life, I do not have anything to say about him but the grudge is on for life,” he said when asked if they had settled things.

He noted that the conflict turned personal due to remarks he considers disrespectful toward his late father.

“You do not say things about my dad and then it is fine, there is no coming back from that,” he added.

The feud between the two artists began earlier this year after Seun criticised Wizkid’s fanbase for drawing comparisons between the Grammy-winning singer and Fela.

Seun argued that such comparisons diminish the legacy and impact of the late Afrobeat legend.

The situation later intensified on social media, with Wizkid reportedly responding in a series of Instagram posts and asserting he was greater than Fela.

Seun also fired back during the online clash, calling Wizkid “short man.”
