BREAKING: Makinde-led PDP unveils Turaki, others as caretaker committee members

The factional National Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party aligned with Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has approved the formation of a 13-member Caretaker Committee, with Tanimu Turaki, SAN, named as chairman.

The resolution was reached during the Makinde-backed 103rd NEC meeting held on Monday in Abuja. The motion was presented by Edo State PDP Chairman Tony Aziegbemi and supported by the party’s ex officio member, Clement Fagboyede.

Other members of the committee include Taofeek Arapaja, who will serve as National Secretary, alongside Daniel Ambrose, Hamza Abuya, Ihediwa, Isah Abubakar, Theophilus Dakashan, Ini Ememobong, Aribisala Adewale Idowu, Baru Shaffi, and Okechukwu Obiechina.

Earlier, Online reported that the Makinde faction was set to officially announce Turaki as chairman of the caretaker committee.
