TikTok content creator, Oladimeji Hammed popularly known as Immunizer, has been granted bail after being arraigned over allegations of harassing Omowunmi Cynthia, the widow of late singer Mohbad.

The 27-year-old was charged by the Lagos State Police Command on a six-count charge bordering on alleged cyberstalking, bullying, and publishing offensive, insulting, and provocative content directed at the 26-year-old widow. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

In a video shared on social media, Hammed confirmed that he had been released on bail. He explained that he recorded the video using a friend’s phone, alleging that the police had confiscated his mobile device as evidence.

According to him, he honoured a police invitation on June 22 following a petition filed by an unnamed key figure connected to the Mohbad case. He said he was interrogated, detained, and subsequently arraigned before a court, where he was granted bail.

However, he claimed he was remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre because errors made by the individual handling his bail process delayed its perfection.

“So I just got out of prison tonight, Kirikiri, Lagos, and I am making this video from my guy’s phone because my phone was taken away from me by the police at the station. They marked it as an exhibit,” he said.

“As you all know, I honoured the police invitation on the 22nd of June, which was Monday. I got there, and they showed me a petition that a prominent name in the Mohbad case I talked about filed.

“As I saw the petition, I laughed. They interrogated me and detained me because they said they were taking me to court. They took me to court, the judge sat, and I was granted bail immediately.

“But the person who was supposed to handle my bail got greedy, made some mistakes, and on Tuesday, I was remanded at Kirikiri prison. Wednesday, I was supposed to come out but… Then today, my bail was perfected, and I am out.”

Hammed said he would address the differing narratives surrounding his arrest in a subsequent video. He also thanked those who supported him during the ordeal before taking a swipe at the country’s system.

“Well, I see a lot of things are going on online, a lot of things have been said, different rumours and perspectives, but do not worry, I will address everything and set the record straight. I actually have a fiction story that I would like to tell you guys,” he added.

“Do not worry, let me rest, I will talk to you tomorrow. And I actually appreciate every one that supported me. You see, Nigerians, you all are f******d, you will suffer. The system is already made for you all to fail.”
