Timini Egbuson opens up on his journey into acting, first big pay cheque

Popular Nollywood actor, Timini Egbuson, recently opened up on his journey into the Nigerian film industry and his initial experience with his first significant pay cheque.

In an interview, the actor talked about how, in spite of criticism from everyone around him, he disregarded common sense and followed his passion for performing.

Timini recalled the several individuals who cautioned him against pursuing a career in Nollywood, pointing out the industry’s alleged dearth of financial benefit.

The actor stated that his resolve to follow his aspirations persisted in spite of the cautions.

Timini Egbuson claims that after he submitted a strong audition for a part in the MTV series “Shuga,” he had his big break.

When Timini Egbuson received his first sizable paycheck from the initiative, she recalled being shocked.

In light of his early achievements, Timini underlined his dedication to the trade and his wish to obtain additional profitable prospects in the sector.

He admitted that the misconception about the lack of financial stability in Nollywood had initially deterred him but ultimately fueled his determination to succeed.

During the interview, Timini  Egbuson also revealed a personal detail about his age, disclosing that he is 36 years old.

He further distinguished himself from his on-screen persona by describing himself as a “sweet boy,” noting that the bad boy roles he often portrays in movies are not a reflection of his true character.
