Renowned Nigerian singer Reekado Banks, real name Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, has finally addressed the rumoured rivalry with the late Don Jazzy, the head of the company.

In a recent sit-down with media icon Daddy Freeze, who questioned him extensively about his allegedly tense relationship with Don Jazzy, he strongly refuted the rumour.

Reekado responded by angrily refuting the rumours and highlighting Don Jazzy’s crucial influence in turning his life around from nothing to something noteworthy.

He expressed genuine bewilderment at why anyone would perceive their relationship to be estranged, underscored the deep respect and gratitude he holds for his former mentor.

Reekado further elaborated that the common narrative of artists departing their record labels amid animosity is unfairly being associated with his departure from Mavin Records.

He clarified that he recently reached out to Don Jazzy, affirming that their relationship remains amicable and devoid of any lingering tension.
