Nollywood actress Ronke Oshodi Oke has expressed her sadness after being unable to attend the burial of veteran Yoruba actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo.
The actress, who is currently in the United Kingdom, reportedly became emotional as she mourned her late colleague and friend from afar.
Ogogo was buried in Ilaro, Ogun State, on Monday, August 24, 2026, following his death at the age of 66.
Ronke Oshodi Oke’s absence from the funeral appeared to weigh heavily on her as she expressed her pain over not being able to make it back to Nigeria for the final rites.
The actress is among the many colleagues in the Yoruba film industry who have continued to mourn Ogogo, whose career spanned more than four decades.
