Nigerian singer Peter Okoye has responded to his elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, by releasing the fifth instalment of his tell-all series, in which he made fresh allegations about their long-running family dispute.
In a series of posts shared on Instagram, Peter alleged that Jude threatened to shoot him during a disagreement over the proposed sale of a property in the United States after he questioned plans to dispose of the asset.
The singer further claimed that he was later asked to sign documents that would have transferred his ownership rights in the property to Jude’s wife, but said he refused.
Peter, popularly known as Mr P, also alleged that Jude threatened him on two occasions over the years. According to him, one of the incidents was captured on video, while the other was referenced in the letter announcing Psquare’s breakup in 2017.
He stressed that his decision to speak publicly was not to seek sympathy but to present his own version of events.
Addressing Jude directly, Peter vowed to continue revealing what he described as the truth until the full story is told, while warning his elder brother against spreading falsehoods.
The latest revelations come days after Peter began the tell-all series following criticism over his “Who Naija help” comment.
In the first part of the series, he accused his twin brother, Paul Okoye, of constantly trying to undermine him, saying he was no longer willing to remain silent and was now ready for “aura for aura”.
In the second instalment, Peter alleged that Paul proposed a revenue-sharing formula in which he and Peter would each receive 35 per cent, while Jude would take 30 per cent. He questioned why their elder brother had to manage the group, noting that they had worked with three managers before Jude took over.
In the third part, Peter claimed he discovered he was no longer a signatory to Northside Entertainment’s bank account while attempting to obtain the company’s bank statement. He accused his brothers of betraying him, insisting their actions showed that money had become a major issue.
Reacting to the allegations, Jude Okoye dismissed Peter’s claims, accusing him of attempting to manipulate public opinion through social media while the matter remains before the court. He said he would not comment on issues that are the subject of ongoing legal proceedings, except to correct what he described as false narratives.
Earlier this year, Peter ruled out any possibility of Psquare reuniting, declaring that the music group was finished. He urged fans to respect people’s decisions, saying nothing lasts forever and that change is inevitable.
Psquare’s latest fallout dates back to 2023, when the twin brothers publicly accused their elder brother, Jude Okoye, of diverting the group’s joint funds.
