Nollywood actress, Sunshine Rosmanhas joined a growing number of celebrities raising concerns about the country’s declining state.

In a recent video, Sunshine questioned Nigerians’ level of national awareness, asking when citizens would finally reach their limit with the nation’s persistent challenges.

She expressed deep frustration over the economic hardship and rising insecurity across the country.

Sunshine also criticised the continued violence in parts of Nigeria, particularly in the northern region, where she said lives are still being lost.

“When are we going to wake up as Nigerians? When is it finally going to be enough? We can’t even begin to talk about the economy right now, the poverty rates. We can’t begin to talk about the lack of infrastructure in this country,” she said.

“People and Christians in the north are constantly being slaughtered. Lives are being lost for nothing. People have to migrate from their towns, from their homes, from their villages, because they know that nothing will be done. I swear it’s not normal. I swear to God this is not normal.”

Rosman is not the only public figure to recently voice concerns about the country’s situation.

Actor Kunle Remi also decried the worsening economic conditions, highlighting the surge in fuel prices and its impact on businesses and individuals.

Comedian Koffi, on his part, accused bloggers of diverting public attention from critical national issues, including the growing insecurity.
