Why I feel bad watching myself act wicked roles – Nollywood actress

Experienced Nollywood actress Ayo Adesanya has shared her thoughts on how seeing herself on television influences her portrayal of wicked roles.

The gifted 54-year-old thespian declared that she is astounded by how well she plays the parts and questions whether she is really that evil.

Even though Adesanya is aware that she is only portraying a character, she still feels awful about it, she admitted to Saturday Beats in an interview.

She stated:

“Acting different roles exposes one to different lifestyles. Sometimes, when I watch myself acting wickedly in a movie, I marvel at how well and easily I play those roles that I begin asking myself if I am that wicked.

“It actually makes me feel bad. I know I am wearing someone’s character, but I still wonder why a character could be so heartless.”

The famous actress also dished some words of advice for young girls who are fond of asking men for money, saying if they are just dating, it is improper to make such demands. Ayo Adesanya added:

“Having a good relationship is not easy now, as even men do not want to get married again. However, if a relationship starts from friendship, it will flourish better.

“There are different reasons one might want to ask for money from a man, but if you are just dating, under no circumstance must you ask for money, because you will lose your respect. If he gives you, that’s fine. But, you should not ask.”
