Popular Nollywood actor, Timini Egbuson recently talked about his dating preferences, saying he prefers a long-term commitment.

He complained about short-lived love relationships in a recent interview with TVC, pointing to their transient character as the reason for his discontent.

The actor blamed social media and internet counsel for the high rate of short-lived partnerships.

He claims that after being exposed to false information and irrational expectations online, people frequently end relationships.

The actor acknowledged that the process of seeking meaningful connections can be isolating.

He emphasized the importance of focusing on genuine relationships rather than superficial ones.

He shared his believes that relationships require effort and dedication to succeed.

Timini said:

“Sometimes, it does get lonely. Because you’ve got everything and obviously, you’ve understood the power of the energy that’s surrounding your space, so you’re not just going to let any and anybody in.

“I am personally, tired of temporary connections when you meet somebody and after getting to know them, they leave. It gets tiring.

“People are quick to leave relationships because we are in a woke generation now where there’s a lot of misinformation going on, on how a perfect relationship should be. Maybe your man is treating you right, then you go on TikTok and you see something like, ‘Seven Signs He Is Not Your Man’ and if it resonates with your reality a bit, you dump your relationship”.

Timini Egbuson also stated that Lots of women have monetised dating.

The actor argued that some women may equate lavish spending with true love, but this is not always the case.

He suggested that men with significant financial resources may use their wealth to attract so many women, rather than genuinely investing in a single relationship.
