Controversial Nigerian artist Portable has now responded to his unexpected exclusion from a Celestial Church praise night.

Reports state that a recent controversy sparked by a Lagos-based church, which generated buzz by announcing popular Fuji musician Pasuma and Portable as guest artists for an upcoming event.

Disapproving of this decision, Celestial Church leader Olatosho Oshoffa took to Facebook to declare that he had prohibited Portable and Pasuma from performing at the praise night.

In response to this development, Portable conveyed his resolve to showcase his performance in a trending video.

He said: “Celestial church we must do the show o, you have already paid me N5 million. Pasuma will perform, I will also perform and we must do it.

“The children of God are coming. Land of Goshen Cathedral please in God’s name, consider us as children of God, don’t judge me by my appearance.”
