President Muhammadu Buhari and some All Progressives Congress state governors held a meeting in Abuja on Tuesday.
The closed-door meeting was held at the residential area of the Presidential Villa.
At least seven governors were sighted going for the meeting, which started not long after the President returned to Abuja from Daura, Katsina State.
He was in his home state for almost a week and voted in the March 9 governorship and state Houses of Assembly elections.
In attendance were governors Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti), Yahaya Bello (Kogi), Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna), Kassim Shetima (Borno), Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara) and Abubakar Badaru (Jigawa).
There was no official word on the agenda of the meeting which ended around 5pm.
