…urges all attendees to self-isolate for two weeks
Lagos State Government has advised all the participants and attendees of the just-concluded African Magic Viewers Choice Awards, AMVCA, to observe strict self-isolation.
According to the Commissioner for Health in the state, Professor Akin Abayomi, the attendees may have been exposed to COVID-19 (Coronavisu).
Abayomi in a tweet on Tuesday explained that the participants may have come in contact with one of the confirmed cases in Lagos at the hotel where the event held on March 14.
The event, which held on March 14 at Eko Hotels and Suites on Victoria Island in Lagos, attracted numerous key player in the creative and movie sector in attendance.
The authorities however advised all parties concerned to go into self-isolation and call the emergency lines in case they detect any form of symptom.
