President Buhari appoints new CBN Directors, others
President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday approved the appointment of four new Non-Executive Directors of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, some Chief Executive Officers federal government agencies.
The new CBN non – executive Directors include Adeola Adetunji, Mike Obadan, Odinakachumwu Nnabuko and Ahmed Jalingo.
A statement from the office of the Secretary to the government of the Federation, SGF, said their appointments which takes effect from 7th June, 2018 is for four years.
The statement said the President also approved the appointment of Abdullahi Dasilva Yusuf as the Chief Medical Director of The University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, while Pauline N. Ikwugbu takes over as the Provost of the Federal College of Education, Eha-Amufu, Enugu State.
Others include Ogbonnia Ibe-Enwo who now takes over as the Rector of the Federal Polytechnic , Afikpo, Olarenwaju Aluko, Rector, federal Polytechnic, IIaro, Ogun State, Sunday Onohaebi, Rector, National Institute of Construction Technology, Uromi, Edo State.
The statement said the President expects the new appointees to regard their appointments as a call to National Service and to carry out their responsibilities with uprightness, diligence and prompt response to the yearnings of the public.
