Superintendent Kingsley Chukwueegu, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Rumuorlumeni Police Division Rivers State, was attacked by armed robbers/kidnappers who were in police uniform and mounted a roadblock around Asa in Obiehie- Abia State, on Sunday.
He was shot while trying to escape, and he later died at the University of Port-Harcourt Teaching Hospital in Rivers State.
