ACAMB to hold second national stakeholders conference August 17

The Association of Corporate Affairs Managers of Banks (ACAMB), a body of Communication & Marketing Professionals in Nigerian Banks will hold the second edition of its national stakeholders conference on Thursday, August 17, 2023.

The conference titled “Marketing Financial Services in Dynamic Times” will hold at Ijewere Hall, Bankers House, Lagos.

The first in the series of the conference held last year (August 3, 2022) with the theme: Promoting a synergy between the Banking Industry & Organized Private Sector (OPS).

According to a statement by the Association, the conference will bring together professionals from diverse financial sectors to discuss and share their knowledge about marketing strategies in the current fast-paced global financial market.

“The dynamic times we live in demand innovation, adaptation, and agility in marketing financial services in today’s marketplace. As digitalization and fintech transform the finance industry, traditional financial institutions need to keep up with the latest innovations to succeed and thrive. The conference will provide a valuable platform for financial experts to interact, share insights and learn from industry leaders and pioneers,” the statement reads in part.

Keynote speakers expected at the conference include; Lead Partner CMC Connect and immediate past President of the African Public Relations Association, Yomi Badejo-Okusanya; Nigerian advertising and music executive, public advocate, founder of X3M Ideas, Steve Babaeko; insurance guru and Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer of Heirs Insurance, Tosin Bayo-Yusuf; founder of Ixzdore Laboratories Limited, James Agada. According to the organizers, the keynote speakers will provide a wealth of insightful information and practical recommendations on how to promote financial services in the dynamic global marketplace and participants will have the opportunity to discuss the most significant trends and challenges faced in the financial services industry and exchange valuable networking contacts.

The conference will also cover topics such as the role of digital transformation in banking, advertising in the financial sector, brand building for enterprises, and client acquisition strategies in the modern financial services industry.
