Supplementary Elections: APC’s Nasiru Idris in early lead as collation of Kebbi Governorship Poll results begins

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has begun the collation of results for the Kebbi State governorship supplementary election.

Collation has so far been completed in five local governments. While Nasiru Idris of the All Progressives Congress (APC) won in Birnin Kebbi, Aliero, Maiyama, and Arewa, Maj-Gen. Aminu Bande (rtd.) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won in Bunza.

The results of the remaining 15 local governments where elections were held have been postponed until 11 a.m. today.
