Biden thanks Tinubu for release Of Binance Executive Gambaryan — Minister

President Joe Biden has called President Bola Tinubu to express gratitude for the release of Tigran Gambaryan, an executive at Binance Holdings, who had been on trial in Nigeria for money laundering and currency speculation.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, informed journalists at the State House in Abuja on Tuesday that the two leaders also discussed areas for partnership and cooperation, including security issues in Africa, with a particular focus on West Africa.

Tuggar provided details of the 30-minute phone call President Tinubu received from Biden, affirming that due process was observed in the release of the Binance executive.
