Ex-presidential candidate Moghalu, wife stuck, rescued from elevator
A former presidential candidate on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kingsley Moghalu and his wife Maryanne got stuck in an elevator for over 30 minutes before being rescued.
Maryanne stated this via a tweet on her X (Twitter) page, accompanied by images and videos of the people who assisted in the rescue effort.
Maryanne reported being stuck in the elevator between levels for 30 minutes with her husband.
She requested her followers to start their day with prayer and spiritual awareness.
Maryanne tweeted:
“This morning, @MoghaluKingsley and I were stuck in an elevator for over 30 minutes! The elevator stopped in between floors. I thank God it ended well. This is why you don’t leave home without praying. Ps 91. Never know what is waiting around the corner. Glory to God.”
Recall that a female doctor, Vwaere Diaso, was not lucky as an elevator carrying her crashed from the 10th floor to the ground floor of Lagos Island General Hospital where she worked as a medical house officer.
Dr. Diaso died from injuries sustained after she was trapped for more than 40 minutes in the crashed elevator.
She died on August 1, 2023, a few weeks prior to the completion of her horsemanship.
