Niger State Governor Umaru Bago has expressed heartfelt condolences to the residents and shop owners affected by a fire outbreak near the NSTA garage in Tunga, Minna, which resulted in the loss of property worth millions of Naira.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the governor described the incident as a tragic and challenging time for the victims and shared in their pain.
Governor Bago encouraged those affected to find solace in God and strengthen their faith, assuring them that divine blessings would surpass their losses.
He also highlighted the increasing frequency of fire outbreaks, particularly in the Minna metropolis, and emphasized the importance of sensitization campaigns by relevant agencies to prevent or minimize such incidents.
The governor pledged the government’s support through appropriate agencies to help mitigate the impact of the disaster.
