Former Vice President of Nigeria, Namadi Sambo, appeals to President Bola Tinubu for appropriate compensation for all victims of the Tudun Biri bomb incident and proper care for those currently in hospitals.

Similarly, the Emir of Zazzau, Amb. Ahmad Bamali, has urged individuals to exercise caution in their statements on social media platforms.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that both leaders conveyed this message during an interview following their condolence visits to Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, expressing their sympathies over the unfortunate incident.

Former Vice President Sambo, offering prayers for the departed and a speedy recovery for the injured, visited the Government House on behalf of himself and his family.

He thanked Governor Sani for his support to the victims and expressed satisfaction with President Tinubu’s directives for compensation, community reconstruction, and the planned provision of globally standard amenities.

Likewise, Bamali expressed his hope that the recent incident would be the final tragedy to befall the state and the entire nation.

In a similar vein, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Kaduna branch, along with the Trade Union Congress led by Chairman Mr. Ayuba Suleiman, extended condolences to the governor and the state’s residents.

Describing the incident as a shock, Suleiman stated, ”on behalf of all our affiliates, we condole with the government and pray for the repose of the souls of the departed.”

NLC  also shared its concern with the government, saying, ” we have confidence in the security agencies and the government. There is a need for thorough investigations into the incident for record to be kept straight to avoid future occurrence.”

In response, Sani expressed gratitude for their visit and the support extended to the state government. He assured them that the Federal Government has initiated prompt investigations into the incident.

He said, ”Nigerians  have  shown a high level of solidarity and support.”

”And for me, it is satisfying, most importantly that President Bola Tinubu has shown leadership by initiating an investigation into the incident and his commitments to rebuild the community and payments of compensation.”

“What we are emphasizing is calling on the people of Tudun Biri  to continue to have faith in the president who has shown leadership by example.”
