Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are currently holding a meeting in Abuja to address the ongoing crisis within the opposition party.
The meeting is taking place at the lodge of Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed. Among the governors in attendance are Siminalayi Fubara (Rivers), Ademola Adeleke (Osun), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), and Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau). Other governors are expected to join, along with members of the PDP National Working Committee (NWC), the Board of Trustees (BoT), and other key party figures.
While the meeting’s agenda has not been disclosed to journalists, recent discussions have centered on the appointment of a substantive party chairman, the scheduling of a national executive committee meeting, and preparations for the upcoming Ondo State governorship election.
