Fuel scarcity may impede material, personnel movement – INEC

With less than 25 days until the general election, the Independent National Electoral Commission has warned that a lack of Premium Motor Spirit, also known as petrol, may impede the movement of election materials and personnel.

In a meeting with the National Union of Road Transport Workers in Abuja on Tuesday, INEC Chairman Mahmood Yakubu made this known.

Yakubu said the commission would be meeting with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, to resolve any issues that might affect logistics delivery and personnel movement on election day.
