Former Ogun State Governor and Senator representing Ogun East, Gbenga Daniel, was reportedly denied access to the All Progressives Congress stakeholders meeting held in Ijebu Ode on Monday.
The meeting, which took place at Adeola Odutola Hall, was part of an emergency APC Ogun East caucus gathering involving key party stakeholders.
Daniel made the allegation in a viral video where he spoke from his branded campaign bus under the OGD/PBAT Movement.
“We are here for our Ogun East APC caucus meeting, but surprisingly, we have been barred; we are told that we can’t enter, but let it be said that whatever they do here today is null and void,” he said.
The invitation for the meeting reportedly included deputy governors, serving and former lawmakers, as well as local government officials across the district.
The incident highlights rising internal tensions within the All Progressives Congress in Ogun State ahead of the 2027 political cycle.
