In the early hours of today (Wednesday), the Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, continued his demolition excercise in the state by demolishing a multi-million naira roundabout situated near the entrance of the Government House.
Reports indicate that the governor personally oversaw the demolition of the roundabout, which is only a few meters away from the Government House entrance. The demolition process was conducted with tight security supervision.
The roundabout, which held historical significance, had been remodeled and renovated by the previous administration of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje in 2017 at a cost of N160 million.
It is worth noting that earlier on Sunday, the governor had also demolished shops located near the fence of Sani Abacha Stadium in Kofar Mata, as well as buildings near GSS Kofar Nasarawa facing IBB road and GGSS Dukawuya in Goron Dutse.
