A 21-year-old man named Chinedu Eziuzo was found guilty of raping his 14-year-old sister in the Adazi-Enu Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State and was given a seven-month prison sentence by a Federal High Court sitting in Awka, Anambra State.

Although Eziuzo was detained on May 30, 2022, it was claimed that he had committed the crime in 2021.
Dr. Nnamdi Dimgba, the presiding judge, announced the sentence’s start date as the day of the defendant’s arrest in his ruling.
He was also given a non-custodial community service sentence of at least three hours every day.
